About Us

Mission

Boston University’s Hellenic Association serves to foster awareness about the language, art, culture, history, politics, economies, beauty and majesty of modern and classical Hellenism throughout the Boston University community and the greater Boston area.  Our association aims to promote Hellenic culture with various activities and functions for those of Hellenic, and non-Hellenic descent.

We welcome new members and look forward to seeing you at our future events!

Goals

  1. To foster a spirit of cooperation and concern about the issues that concern contemporary Hellenic (Greek) communities and in the achievements of historic Hellenic personalities and philhellenes.
  2. To provide on a regular basis a framework for common cultural, social and educational activities for its members and establish links among the Hellenes and philhellenes that currently study, currently teach, have taught, or have studied in this University.
  3. To provide through its Executive Committee Officers and its members formal means of communication with other students, foreign or American, and other Hellenic organizations worldwide in order to promote the Hellenic culture.
